Xserve and Snow Leopard Server

Finding yourself with more Mac’s in your office? Wondering how to integrate them into your existing infrastructure for things like data redundancy and regulatory compliance? IPSOFACTO’s Mac Specialists can install an Apple Xserve into your existing network to bring these machines under management and insure that your data is not lost.

Apple’s Xserve (as well as the Mac Mini Server) runs OS X 10.6 Server, a rock solid Unix Based Server OS that is fully 64-bit compatible. The Xserve can serve as the backbone of your network, or easily integrate into your Windows Active Directory. It supports fine grained Access Control Lists (ACLs) that will keep your private documents private and your shared documents easy to find. It also integrates with Apple’s Time Machine technology making instant backups a snap.

An Xserve also includes a fully functional email system, Apache based web server, and wiki server for instant collaboration. Best of all there are no per user Client Access costs, so you only have to pay for licensing once and can grow forever.
