If you need to change the product key used on an Office 2008 for Mac installation and you don’t want to reinstall: 1. Remove the file, OfficePID.plist from /Applications/Office 2008/Office 2. Remove the folder Office 2008 from ~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft. 3. Restart Office and enter the new key.
