Issue: New HP z800 sound does not work out of the box

Affects: HP z800 workstations

Solution/Process: Certain configurations of these workstations ship with an ATI audio/video card and even if you try to update the drivers for the card it still says that there is no audio device detected. The solution is to go into the bios and enable the on-board sound and disable it on the card. Then you will be using the video from the card, but not the sound. The sound is only really useable in situations where you are using a HDTV.
